This is an entry-level, structured-training role built around three developmental focus areas, working closely with and mentored by Technology & Innovation team., * 0-1 years of professional experience; internships, co-ops, capstone projects, or coursework involving software development, APIs, or ERP/WMS systems are highly valued. Prior exposure to Manhattan Active WMS is a plus but not required * Coursework, internship, or personal-project experience with low-code/no-code platforms, application development, or systems extensibility concepts is a plus * Exposure to automation concepts, scripting, or agentic workflow tools through coursework or personal projects is a plus * Coursework or internship exposure to incident management, defect tracking, or production-support concepts is a plus. * Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) or supply chain/DC concepts, through coursework or exposure, is a plus * Willingness and aptitude to learn Manhattan ProActive: service extension configurator, UI designer, extension pack management, API/entity dictionary, and AI-assisted development tools (full training provided) * Basic understanding of cloud-native architecture concepts (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), through coursework or projects, is a plus * Exposure to ERP integration concepts (JDE), through coursework or projects, is a plus * Interest in warehouse management and supply chain execution processes * Familiarity with Git, Postman, JSON, and XML (through coursework, bootcamps, or personal projects) * Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments is a plus * Exposure to or curiosity about Manhattan Agent Foundry or equivalent AI agent development platforms - capable of producing technical documentation and clear business-facing updates * Coachable and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Strong team player with a growth mindset and genuine curiosity about enterprise systems, AI, and supply chain technology * Bachelor's degree (completed or expected) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field * Exposure to or interest in prompt engineering, agent orchestration patterns, or AI workflow design principles, through coursework or personal projects, is a plus ## Description * Learn to design, build, and maintain custom extensions and integrations within Manhattan Active WMS using the Manhattan ProActive low-code platform * Learn to build and deploy AI agents within the Manhattan ecosystem - leveraging Manhattan Agent Foundry (a no-code/low-code tool) to automate supply chain processes, orchestrate workflows, and extend ProActive-built capabilities with intelligent automation * Gain hands-on exposure to post go-live technical support - assisting with production issue triage, defect resolution, and system stability * The ideal candidate brings strong foundational technical skills, curiosity about WMS extensibility and AI agent platforms, and the discipline to grow into these areas, with support from a team invested in developing early-career talent Manhattan ProActive Extension Development: * Assist in designing, building, and maintaining custom MAWM extensions using Manhattan ProActive - covering business logic, workflows, custom data attributes, and UI modifications * Support the build-out of back-end service extensions via ProActive's service extension configurator, integrating with MAWM microservice APIs and external systems * Assist with customizing mobile and desktop UIs using ProActive's visual UI designer - adding fields, modifying screens, and extending standard MAWM workflows Participate in the full extension lifecycle: development, testing, packaging (extension packs), environment migration (STAGE * PROD), and performance monitoring * Help maintain and enhance existing extensions, including defect remediation, spec alignment, and post go-live enhancements * Leverage ProActive's AI-assisted code generation and automated documentation tools to accelerate development velocity and ensure documentation accuracy * AI Agent Development - Manhattan Agent Foundry * Learn to design and build AI agents using Manhattan Agent Foundry to automate supply chain commerce processes within the Manhattan Active ecosystem, with full training provided * Assist in identifying automation opportunities across DC operations - including wave management, exception handling, dock scheduling, inventory reconciliation, and carrier compliance * Support the integration of ProActive-built extensions into AI agents, helping agents read, manipulate, and act on MAWM data and processes * Use Agent Foundry's composable, no-code/low-code interface to prototype and test agents alongside senior team members, iterating based on operational feedback * Assist in defining agent scope, trigger conditions, decision logic, and escalation paths in collaboration with senior developers and business stakeholders * Help monitor deployed AI agents in production - tracking performance and flagging exceptions as operational patterns evolve * Stay current on Manhattan's expanding AI agent capabilities and build toward identifying opportunities to extend agent coveragntegration & API Developmente across FSP supply chain functions * Assist in developing and maintaining REST API integrations between Manhattan Active WMS and external systems * Utilize ProActive's API documentation and entity dictionary to identify and call the appropriate microservice endpoints across MAWM functions * Support custom data attribute extensions - surfacing new fields through APIs, UIs, and business logic layers. * Troubleshoot integration failures, API errors, and data mapping issues between MAWM and upstream/downstream systems Post Go-Live Technical Support: * Serve as a Tier 1/Tier 2 support resource for MAWM production issues - assisting with issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution under guidance from senior team members * Participate in hypercare support by shadowing senior team members during Severity 1/2 incidents, learning rapid-response practices and business impact communication Documentation & Knowledge Management: * Produce and maintain technical documentation for all ProActive extensions and AI agents - including design specs, API mappings, agent workflow diagrams, and test evidence * Build and maintain runbooks for production support scenarios: wave processing failures, integration errors, agent exception handling, and extension rollback procedures * Leverage Manhattan Developer Hub, ProActive U training, and Agent Foundry documentation to maintain current platform expertise * Support internal knowledge transfer to reduce long-term vendor dependency on Manhattan for routine extension and support tasks ## Related Videos -
