The role of a Senior Software Development Engineer - Epic Bridges- involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex healthcare integrations. This position focuses on ensuring seamless data flow between the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other systems.
As part of the Epic team, you will be expected to be proficient in all critical functions of the application development and will champion methodologies with a deep understanding of best practices to ensure that quality standards are met. This team directly impacts the lives of our healthcare delivery patients by creating systems that allow for efficient, quality, and safe healthcare delivery. Working with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 v2 (ADT, ORU, ORM, SIU, MDM, DFT) / HL7 v3 XML / CCDA / X12/ FHIR Integration and messaging patterns (e.g., Azure services) to connect disparate systems.
Configuring and monitoring interfaces in Interface Engine Mirth, pProviding technical expertise, mentoring junior developers, and leading medium-sized projects through the full lifecycle.
