Emphasis on majority of solutions will be custom not out of box. * Build solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality, including custom modules, data models, platform extensions, and service portal widgets. * Experience in standing up and customizing a Service Portal is a must. * Clone, extend, and customize existing ServiceNow modules to meet customer-specific requirements * Develop workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, third-party platforms) * Write, test, and debug ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Fix Scripts) * Develop custom UI components (UI Pages, UI Actions, Service Portal elements) * Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices * Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including researching and adapting platform capabilities as needed * Collaborate with developers and team members within an Agile/DevSecOps environment (stories, estimation, lightweight ceremonies) * Work independently on development tasks and progress assigned work items through completion * Maintain and apply knowledge of ServiceNow data structures (tables, dictionary, relationships, CMDB) * Configure and utilize MID Server for integrations and data movement * Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and platform security configurations * Adhere to security and compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP/DoD/STIG) * Able to stand up new instance and configure for new application or migration of current applications in SNOW. * Experience tracing data points to respective tables in domain separated environment.
