## About the Role

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AI Architect to join our team full-time and 100% remote., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience

 * 12+ years of experience
 * Experience utilizing government-standard AI/Data platforms or enterprise-scale BI tools in a federal setting
 * Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI architectures and machine learning solutions
 * Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
 * Experience building and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and utilizing frameworks such as LangChain

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Master's degree
 * Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Air Force projects, specifically related to cost estimation or civil engineering
 * Expertise in Agentic AI, autonomous computing, and Human-AI teaming methodologies
 * Experience with secure AI deployments and navigating federal compliance and security standards

Clearance Requirements:

 * U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

 * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
 * Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
 * Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

## Description

* Lead a team of Developers and Data Engineers in building agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, or CrewAI) that uses iterative reasoning and planning
 * Lead the frontier of autonomous computing, moving beyond simple chatbots to build Agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention
 * Design the brains that interact with the real world through tools, APIs, and sophisticated feedback loops
 * Drive the architecture and delivery of Human-AI Teaming capabilities for the AFCEC Cost Estimation project
 * Replace manual, high-variability processes with predictive, agent-driven capabilities to reshape workflow efficiency
 * Architect and deploy secure, scalable AI solutions tailored for government and defense environments
