* 3-5+ years of experience in database development or administration
 * Advanced proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning
 * Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise database platforms
 * Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing
 * Familiarity with schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization
 * Ability to manage backups, recovery, upgrades, and platform configuration, * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
 * Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical teams
 * Commitment to data governance and building a data-driven culture

Preferred Experience

 * Background in BI, reporting, or analytics environments
 * Experience with cloud database platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
 * Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
 * Familiarity with Agile or similar project methodologies
 * Healthcare or closely related industry experiences
