Mytra is moving from prototype builds to repeatable customer deployments, and we need a hands-on field operator who can execute commissioning work with discipline, document objective evidence, and escalate issues before they become customer-impacting misses. The Deployment Engineer owns defined commissioning work packages such as infrastructure preflight, safety bring-up support, robot integration checks, and construction QC. Working collaboratively with the Senior Deployment Engineer, who provides day-to-day field direction, you will execute against the commissioning gates and quality standards defined by the Deployment Lead and enforced by the site team. Customer interaction is regular and on-site. You'll be at the customer facility and expected to represent Mytra professionally, answer questions as needed, and communicate clearly in the moment. Day-to-day, your primary working interfaces are trade contractors and the site team; what matters most is execution discipline, artifact quality, and fast, clear escalation when something is off. This role is designed to grow into ownership of a full commissioning subsystem - such as infrastructure readiness, safety bring-up, robot integration, or ops station readiness - based on demonstrated execution discipline, artifact quality, and field judgment. What you'll do: * Execute commissioning readiness work packages, including network/compute preflight, ops station bring-up, robot integration checks, and safety prerequisite validation * Produce construction QC evidence before commissioning starts, including photos, measurements, inspection checklists, and documented as-built deltas * Deliver high-quality deployment artifacts for closeout and sustainment handoff, including commissioning readiness records, SAT evidence, installed-base manifests, and open-issue trackers * Escalate issues with clear context: root cause hypothesis, objective evidence, affected work streams, and recommended next actions. See solutions through resolution. ## Related Videos - [My journey into DevOps world - How it all started!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/545-my-journey-into-devops-world-how-it-all-started) - [Monoliths: A love story](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/164-monoliths-a-love-story) - [Enabling intelligent logistics automation: home-grown Industrial IoT platform at Austrian Post](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2018-enabling-intelligent-logistics-automation-home-grown-industrial-iot-platform-at-austrian-post) - [Smart, Connected, Unexpected: The Wild Side of IoT and AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1113-smart-connected-unexpected-the-wild-side-of-iot-and-ai) - [Modulith Instead of Monolith - Pragmatically Towards Microservices](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/987-modulith-instead-of-monolith-pragmatically-towards-microservices) - [It's not easy being green](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/558-it-s-not-easy-being-green) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Mastering Remote Work: Tips for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/558-mastering-remote-work-tips-for-developers) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Finding Jobs in Germany](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/375-finding-jobs-in-germany) - [Finding IT & Technology English-speaking Jobs in Germany ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/446-finding-it-technology-english-speaking-jobs-in-germany)
