Skills/Abilities * Knowledge of software design principles, application architecture, and development best practices. * Experience with commonly used programming design concepts, practices, and procedures. * Experience with modern IDEs; Microsoft Visual Studio experience preferred. * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database development concepts. * Experience with Microsoft .NET programming including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET, Web APIs, or related technologies. * Experience with React JS * Experience using GitHub or similar source control platforms for version control and collaboration. * Experience with Azure DevOps * Understanding of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices. * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, application integration, and modern web development concepts. * Basic understanding of AI/Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding tools, and responsible AI practices. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. ## Description The Software Developer creates software applications by analyzing and translating non-technical business requirements into dynamic, functional software applications. In addition to the design and maintenance of applications, the Software Developer performs ongoing assessment to ensure applications are visually effective, accessible, secure, and easy to use.
