Soft Skills & Professional Attributes * User Experience Focus - Ability to understand end-user workflows and design intuitive, streamlined interfaces. * Communication Excellence - Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Problem-Solving Mindset - Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement improvements. * Collaboration - Work effectively across functional teams within Surface Team 1 and supporting commands. * Professionalism - Operate within Navy and DoD governance frameworks., * Experience supporting Navy, DoD, or federal enterprise IT environments. * Familiarity with Navy maintenance organizations, Surface Team One, or RMC operations. * Understanding of cybersecurity and information assurance compliance requirements. * Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain). ## Description The SharePoint Developer will serve as the technical lead for Microsoft Enterprise Content Management and collaboration platforms supporting Surface Team 1. This role will maintain and enhance existing SharePoint Online environments while developing new applications, dashboards, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency, reporting visibility, and user experience. This position requires both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to translate complex solutions into intuitive tools for Navy stakeholders., * Serve as Site Collection Administrator/Owner for SharePoint Online environments. * Support and maintain the existing Microsoft SharePoint Online instance and associated applications. * Design, build, deploy, and sustain custom SharePoint solutions. * Develop dashboards, performance metrics, and interactive reporting tools using: + Power BI + Power Apps + Power Automate + SharePoint Forms * Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Planner, etc.). * Implement and enforce security best practices, including permissions management and governance controls. * Develop automation workflows to streamline business processes. * Configure and manage: + Content types + Web parts + Search capabilities + Group policies and user permission sets + Cross-site collection functions * Provide end-user support, training, and documentation. * Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify requirements and implement scalable solutions. * Ensure platform reliability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
