## Description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and protecting critical technology infrastructure? We're seeking a SOC Analyst 1 to join a fast-paced Security Operations Center that operates around the clock to safeguard mission-critical systems and communications. In this role, you'll serve as a first line of defense against cyber threats by monitoring security events, analyzing alerts, escalating potential incidents, and helping continuously improve detection capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career cybersecurity professional looking to build hands-on experience in threat monitoring, incident response, and security operations.

What You'll Do:

 * Monitor security and network activity across mission-critical systems and communication environments.

 * Capture, document, and triage alerts received through various security tools, communications platforms, and monitoring systems.

 * Analyze events to determine severity, validity, and appropriate response actions while meeting established operational metrics.

 * Follow SOC playbooks and procedures for data collection, event classification, investigation, and escalation.

 * Maintain detailed case documentation and audit trails within designated incident management platforms.

 * Collaborate with security and network operations teams to improve detections, playbooks, reporting, and operational processes.

 * Support incident response activities and provide operational coverage across rotating 24/7/365 shifts, including weekends and holidays.
