Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following: * Public sector or government technology projects * Higher education, financial aid, grants, or benefits administration systems * Cloud modernization initiatives * Human-centered design practices * Business process improvement * Product management collaboration * Design systems and content strategy * Agile product delivery and backlog management ## Description BH Zion, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior User Experience (UX) / Business Analyst to support the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) on two high-profile modernization initiatives that will transform how Maryland delivers financial aid and workforce service programs. This role combines user experience, business analysis, and human-centered design to create intuitive digital experiences while ensuring business and technical requirements are clearly defined. You'll work alongside product managers, developers, stakeholders, and end users to deliver modern, cloud-based solutions that improve services for hundreds of thousands of Maryland residents. If you enjoy solving complex business problems, conducting user research, facilitating workshops, and translating user needs into actionable requirements, we'd love to hear from you., * Location: Baltimore, MD (On-site 2-3 days per week, with other days remote) * Work Arrangement: Primarily on-site with limited telework as approved.
