## About the Role

* A BSEE or similar degree and 8 years of experience in a related position are required.
 * A MSEE degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
 * Ability to work in a team environment and strong communications skills are essential.
 * Experience with high performance analog applications is required.
 * A background in Design, Product, Evaluation, or Test Engineering in a mixed signal or analog environment is considered beneficial to a successful candidate.
 * Lab experience should include: advanced test and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and BERTs.
 * Specific experience with high speed electrical or optical transmission interfaces, highly desirable.
 * Extrapolating the measured results to circuit analysis in a customer setting is crucial to success.
 * A familiarity with optical transmission module construction and associated standards is highly desirable.

## Description

* Specialize in MACOM's High Performance Analog ICs and their specific applications.
 * Provide expert level engineering support to customers, sales, FAEs, and marketing.
 * Work with design engineering to produce product documentation and applications collateral.
 * As a product specialist, solve challenging problems through analysis and hands-on lab work.
