The platform is a modern, API-first Drupal 11 / PHP 8.3 application (LAMP-based: Linux, MySQL, PHP) that serves as the backend for a decoupled React frontend, processing data for hundreds of thousands of patients and millions of clinical records in a SOC 2 / HITRUST-certified, PHI-handling environment. This is a player-coach role. You will own architecture decisions, write code daily, and lead a team of junior developers responsible for maintaining and extending the platform. The engineering workflow is already deeply AI-assisted-Claude Code with project-specific agent configurations, AI-powered code review, and code-intelligence tooling are part of daily development. You will own, govern, and evolve that AI-native workflow while mentoring junior engineers into it safely and productively.
