## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certifications
 * ~2 years of IT support / help desk experience
 * Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS
 * Basic command line and scripting knowledge (PowerShell or shell)
 * Basic networking/troubleshooting skills
 * Strong communication and customer service skills
 * Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
 * Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs, moving between floors)
 * Strong interest in learning and staying current with technology

Nice to Have

 * 3D printer support/maintenance experience
 * Photography, videography, or A/V production experience

## Description

A private high school in South Brooklyn is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Specialist to support ~450 students and 100 faculty/staff. This is a full-time, year-round role requiring 5 days on-site, including summer coverage., * Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues; troubleshoot or escalate as needed

 * Provide support in person and via remote tools
 * Image, deploy, and configure laptops, desktops, and classroom technology
 * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications
 * Manage device lifecycle (setup, repairs, replacements, inventory tracking)
 * Support printers, copiers, and print server queues
 * Manage users in Active Directory, Google Admin, and internal systems
 * Assist with endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, Google Admin)
 * Set up and support A/V equipment and livestream events (occasional after-hours work)
 * Document tickets, resolutions, and internal knowledge base updates
