## About the Role

* TS/SCI with polygraph
 * High School Diploma or equivalent
 * One (1) year of experience in Access Control, Asset Management, or related
 * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
 * Physical requirements: must have the ability to frequently stand, walk, and crouch

## Description

* Performs specialized tasks associated with the activities of a specific data center, computer room or machine room.
 * Includes access control, space assignment, Material/equipment handling and inventory.
 * Updates access list and rosters and controls entry within the room of rooms
 * Maintains total accountability of devices residing in the machine room
 * Performs property management functions for the machine room/computer room assigned
 * Tracks equipment installed or removed from the assigned machine room as a result of planned/schedule work or unplanned/unscheduled (emergency)work
 * Keeps databases accurate and up to date including activities that result from afterhours service request
 * Provides reports from the databases use
 * Reports maintenance problems and performs routine checks
 * Conducts periodic room audits, room inspections and monitors room cleanliness
 * Manages the power, space, and cooling requirements for all installed devices as well as requests for removal installation of new devices
 * Manages a Medium Scale Data Center with 2-3 computer rooms
 * Provides guidance and training to personnel with access to the room as required
 * Performs functions according to Agency Policy and documented standards
