Even better if : * You have past retail experience. * You have experience working in a distributed development environment leveraging git and Jira. * You have experience working in a scaled data environment leveraging Spark and Kubernetes. * You have experience working in a Linux environment. * You have a Ph.D. degree. ## Description The Data Scientist serves as a trusted professional that is experienced in problem-solving with real-world customer data and working with clients. At Cognira this role is expected to participate in design and implementation of client projects, as well as drive the development of general models used in forecasting. You will play an important role in shaping our forecasting processes, from architecting innovative feature sets and training cutting-edge models to refining their predictive power. You'll also partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into high-impact business solutions, directly influencing real-world retail strategies.
