**Published:** July 8, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=fe655c3be631ed84 ## About the Role * 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master with at least 2 years in data engineering or data platform delivery teams * Strong understanding of SAFe Scaled Agile Framework ART cadence PI planning WSJF Inspect Adapt * Experience facilitating distributed hybrid teams across multiple time zones * Familiarity with data platform delivery ETL, ELT pipelines data warehouse builds BI reporting sprints * Proficiency with Agile tools Jira Confluence or equivalent for backlog tracking sprint management and reporting * Excellent communication facilitation and conflict resolution skills * Experience working in multivendor delivery environments with clear vendor coordination protocols Good to Have / Preferred * CSM PSM II SAFe Scrum Master SSM or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master SASM certification * Experience in insurance or financial services transformation programs * Familiarity with Snowflake Databricks or cloud data platform project lifecycles * Understanding of DevOps practices CICD environment management release orchestration * Prior experience coordinating with centralized QA release management teams * Exposure to data governance and compliance workflows GDPR HIPAA APRA ## Description * The Scrum Master is the servant leader and cadence owner for the Data AI POD This role facilitates all POD level ceremonies removes impediments shields the team from distractions and ensures the POD operates at peak efficiency within the ZCM Agile framework * The SM coordinates with the Release Train Engineer RTE for ART level alignment and partners with the QA Automation team to meet the monthly release cadence and quality gates, * Facilitate all POD level ceremonies Daily Standups Sprint Planning Sprint Review Sprint Retrospective and weekly Backlog Refinement * Own the POD cadence 2week sprints aligned to the 8-10-week PI cycle and monthly release drumbeat * Identify and remove impediments proactively escalate blockers to the RTE and ART leadership when needed * Coach the team on Agile SAFe best practices continuous improvement and self-organization * Track and report sprint velocity burndown cycle time and other key delivery metrics for the Data AI POD * Coordinate cross POD dependencies with other Scrum Masters via the Scrum of Scrums weekly and RTE Council * Support PI Planning preparation ensure the POD backlog is refined estimated and ready for PI commitment * Partner with the Product Owner to ensure backlog health story readiness and sprint goal clarity * Liaise with the Stitching Partner QA Automation team to align POD deliverables with integration test schedules and release quality gates * Drive continuous improvement through retrospective action items and process optimization * Manage onsite offshore coordination ensure seamless communication between onsite leadership roles and offshore engineering test resources ## Related Videos -
