## About the Role

* Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar
 * Experience in embedded software / firmware development
 * Strong C programming skills
 * Experience with microcontrollers (PIC/DSP/TMS320 desirable)
 * Understanding of embedded systems and control theory
 * Methodical problem-solving approach
 * Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment

Desirable:

 * VB.NET / GUI development exposure
 * Power electronics or control systems experience
 * Regulated or high-spec engineering environment experience

## Description

Working on advanced technology products, you will collaborate closely with electronics and power supply design engineers to develop embedded software and digital control systems used in innovative, high-performance products., * Design and develop embedded software for new product development

 * Implement and support digital control loops within advanced electronic products
 * Maintain and improve existing production firmware
 * Work closely with design engineers to ensure software meets technical and customer requirements
 * Support software testing, design reviews and release control
 * Contribute to project planning, estimates and technical documentation
 * Ensure designs meet quality, safety and regulatory standards
