Confident implementing consistent styling solutions across a large codebase. * Pragmatic problem-solving, with the ability to consider both the short-term and long-term needs of a design problem. Able to identify the ideal future solution while working towards it incrementally without slowing product momentum. * Strong understanding of semantic HTML, accessibility and clean front-end implementation. * Visual thinker, able to communicate ideas clearly through design, discussion and visual explanation. Desirable: * UX-minded, with an understanding of how individual interactions contribute to the overall user journey, and how that experience can be improved in both small and meaningful ways. * Collaborative and open to working across teams, communicating ideas clearly and responding well to feedback. * Able to self-manage when working independently, using initiative to identify issues and propose practical solutions. * Familiarity with Figma and design system thinking.
