You will be embedded in the day-to-day delivery of our web products, owning the front-end experience across our Shopify-powered eCommerce estate, building and maintaining backend services, and enabling our marketing and acquisition functions through robust technical integrations. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and direct impact on customer experience. What You'll Be Doing * Building, maintaining, and optimising our Shopify-based eCommerce storefronts across multiple partner brands. * Developing responsive, performant front-end interfaces with TypeScript and a modern component framework (our storefront currently uses Vue). * Designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js. * Integrating marketing and analytics tooling, including Klaviyo, PostHog, Meta, and Google acquisition channels. * Collaborating with the product and commercial teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. * Driving code reviews and upholding high standards for code quality, security, and performance. * Contributing to architecture decisions and the ongoing migration from Shopify toward a custom backend stack. * Working within an agile framework: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery. ## Related Videos - [Lessons learned from building a thriving Vue.js SaaS application](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1666-lessons-learned-from-building-a-thriving-vue-js-saas-application) - [Svelte ♥ TypeScript and so will you](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/493-svelte-typescript-and-so-will-you) - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [Coffee with Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/354-coffee-with-developers) - [Common Mistakes in Vue.js and How to Avoid Them](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/958-common-mistakes-in-vue-js-and-how-to-avoid-them) - [On tour with heroes == Moving from Angular to WebComponents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/63-on-tour-with-heroes-moving-from-angular-to-webcomponents) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 133 - Back to Front](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/474-dev-digest-133-back-to-front) - [Web Development Best Practices: What The Data Tells us](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/84-web-development-best-practices-what-the-data-tells-us)
