## About the Role

* U.S. Citizenship required
 * Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
 * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience (varies by level):

 * Junior: 0-3 years (foundational systems engineering knowledge)
 * Intermediate: 3-8 years (hands-on MBSE / integration experience)
 * Senior: 8-11 years (architecture ownership, system design experience)
 * SME: 12+ years (enterprise architecture leadership, strategy, and large-scale program support)
Core Skills:

 * Experience with systems engineering and system architecture design
 * Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and SysML/UML modeling
 * Familiarity with DoDAF or UAF frameworks
 * Experience with system integration and interoperability in complex environments
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

 * Hands-on experience with Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx EA, Rhapsody, or similar tools
 * Experience supporting DoD programs or large enterprise systems
 * Familiarity with:
 * Digital thread / digital twin concepts
 * Cloud, DevSecOps, or Zero Trust environments
 * COTS/ERP integration
 * Experience generating model-based documentation and artifacts
 * Certifications (OCSMP, INCOSE, TOGAF, etc.)

## Description

The MBSE Systems Engineer will support the design, development, and integration of enterprise-level architectures within a digital engineering environment. This role focuses on applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop scalable, interoperable solutions across complex DoD systems. Candidates will work within a mature digital engineering ecosystem, leveraging SysML, DoDAF/UAF frameworks, and modern architecture practices to support mission-critical operations. Opportunities are open across multiple levels (Junior through SME), with strong growth and training support in MBSE and digital engineering., * Develop and maintain system, operational, and enterprise architectures using MBSE methodologies

 * Build and manage SysML/UML models capturing requirements, workflows, interfaces, and mission threads
 * Translate operational and business requirements into scalable solution architectures
 * Define integration patterns, data exchanges, and interoperability requirements across systems
 * Support digital engineering strategy, including digital thread and model-based decision support
 * Establish and maintain architecture governance, modeling standards, and technical baselines
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, cybersecurity, test, and program management
 * Support technology roadmaps, transition planning, and system modernization efforts
 * Present architecture designs and technical findings to stakeholders and leadership
