## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 2+ years of experience in foundry or casting design (preferred).
 * Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
 * Knowledge of foundry processes, materials, and manufacturing principles.
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

## Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support our foundry operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with casting design, pattern development, and manufacturing processes related to non-ferrous metals. This position plays a key role in bridging engineering design with production efficiency to ensure quality and cost-effective casting solutions., * Design and develop casting models, cores, and patterns for foundry production.

 * Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
 * Collaborate with production, patternmaking, and machining teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.
 * Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure compliance.
 * Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for design optimization.
 * Assist in troubleshooting design or casting issues during production.
 * Maintain accurate documentation and project records.
