## About the Role

* 1-3+ years of software development experience (professional or equivalent portfolio/project experience)
 * Experience with WordPress development
 * Experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
 * Experience working with MongoDB or other database technologies
 * Experience building or maintaining API integrations
 * Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier
 * Basic understanding of Git and version control
 * Experience with React is a plus
 * Curiosity and excitement for learning new technologies, including AI
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on a small collaborative team
 * A self-motivated attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed

## Description

Software Developer - (WordPress & Internal Systems) Full-Time | Remote | $60,000-$70,000 annually + Benefits, You'll work alongside two other developers to build new internal applications, improve existing systems, and support the technology our employees rely on every day. One day you may be building a new feature for one of our internal applications. The next day you might be troubleshooting a WordPress issue, creating a Zapier automation, fixing an API integration, or helping an employee resolve a technical problem.

What You'll Do:

 * Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools
 * Build and maintain WordPress websites and custom functionality
 * Troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve internal technology support tickets
 * Build automations using Zapier and other integration platforms
 * Integrate third-party APIs and business systems
 * Write clean, organized, and maintainable PHP and JavaScript code
 * Collaborate with teammates to design and implement new internal solutions
 * Work directly with employees to understand business needs and create practical solutions
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
 * Help maintain development environments and deployment workflows
 * Assist with documentation and continuous improvement of internal systems
 * Explore new technologies-including AI tools-and help identify opportunities where they can improve our workflows
