For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. ## Description * Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications. * Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. * Develop automation scripts using tools such as Python and other scripting languages * Support the development of System and Software Requirements * Create test plans, test protocols, and test reports used for regulatory submissions. * Execute test protocols for medical devices software systems * Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meet technical and functional requirements. * Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. * Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. * Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. * Conduct tool validation activities * Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others * Additional duties as assigned, Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. + Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software. + Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software. + Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements. + Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. + Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. + Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. **TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:** An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies.
