Experience: * Natural/ADABAS: 5 years (Required) * JAVA/JAVASCRIPT: 5 years (Required) ## Description We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ad hoc Research Associates. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions that support our clients' missions. This position is crucial in ensuring the success of our systems engineering projects. Skill sets and tasks include: * Experience with hardware, software, FPPS and FACT experience. * Migrations/Implementation from production databases to test databases * Running QA reports and conducting analysis and comparisons * Merge and Purge employee profiles when there are two profiles * Extraction and analysis of employees/data/software among test databases * Storage and analysis of developer tables only in FACT, then calls to developers for consultation on developers tables * Identification and troubleshooting of FACT errors, working with both developers and functionals Responsibilities Develop Natural, SQL, JCL, Java, or JavaScript code. Natural One SAG designer and XML experience is a plus. Apply knowledge of fourth-generation programming languages. Coordinate changes to Natural, JCL, or Java Applications. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard applications using accepted industry practices and/ or organizational policies. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments as they relate to Natural/ADABAS, XML JCL, or Java/JavaScript Plan and lead major technology assignments. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May lead or supervise others.
