Pay rate: $85,467/year for Bachelor's/Associate + 2 yrs exp, $108,077/year for Master's + 0 yrs exp, $153,317/year for Bachelor's + 5 yrs exp (OES industry standards) (Employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor)

## Description

As an Software Engineer, the employee will be responsible for the following job duties:

 1. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services using object-oriented programming languages and application frameworks.

 2. Develop and implement backend systems and RESTful APIs supporting monolithic and microservices-based architectures.

 3. Design and implement distributed software solutions, including applications integrating with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.

 4. Develop integrations between enterprise software systems and decentralized platforms, including smart-contract based functionality.

 5. Deploy, manage, and maintain applications in cloud computing environments using industry-standard cloud platforms.

 6. Implement containerized application deployments using containerization technologies and related tools.

 7. Develop and maintain automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

 8. Perform system analysis, software design, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, product management, and operations to deliver software solutions.

 10. Prepare technical documentation and provide engineering reports and updates to management.
