## About the Role

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field from an ABET-accredited institution and 2-4 years of experience in the design, development, and testing of real-time software applications and simulations; or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field from an ABET-accredited institution with less than 2 years of relevant experience simulations\n
 * Proficiency in C++\n
 * Experience with Java and user interface development\n
 * Experience with GitLab/Git for version control\n
 * Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments\n
 * Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and application of the Agile methodologies within a technical/engineering environment.\n
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations\n
 * Must be a US citizen possess and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance\n
 * Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area to provide full time onsite support\n, * Relevant DoD or industry experience in missile defense\n
 * Agile Scrum experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)\n
 * Experience with Jira, VersionOne, or similar Agile project-management and issue-tracking tools\n
 * Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins)\n
 * Experience with Python\n
 * Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools\n
 * Experience with multi-core and multi-threaded programming\n
 * Understanding of systems engineering concepts (not required to be a systems engineer)\n
