New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. # of Positions: 1 Work Location: Alameda County Telework: In Office Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Facility: California School for the Deaf ## Description Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II, State Special Schools Support Office, CSDF Unit, within the Technology Services Division, and in coordination with the Superintendent of the California School for the Deaf, Fremont, the Information Technology Specialist I is responsible for supporting and managing cloud-based technologies and related systems for CSDF. These platforms may include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Intune, Exchange Online, ServiceNow, Adobe, and other cloud-based systems used by the school. The incumbent provides second-level technical support to computer users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, account, and system-related issues. Duties include setting up, configuring, maintaining, and updating computer systems and related technology resources. The incumbent may also provide training, guidance, and technical assistance to staff and users to ensure effective use of technology resources. Experience with SQL, HTML/CSS, XML, and Angular is desirable.
