* Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
 * Sr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MS
 * MATLAB coding proficiency
 * Simulation performance modeling knowledge and experience
 * Active TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
 * Experience with Space Vehicle tasking
 * Experience with Radar tasking
 * BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Math
 * Active SCI clearance

## Description

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and maintain a Mission Ground Simulator (MGS) in MATLAB for our development, production, and on-orbit operational Space Radar Payload programs.

As a member of the Mission Ground Simulator (MGS) team, you will be responsible for:

 * Development and Maintenance of MGS MATLAB based ground simulation (thermal, power, radar tasking, ground interfaces, tasking decomposition)
 * Development of Mathematical Algorithm Requirement Specifications (MARS) that feed MGS and Ground development
