Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Analytics Engineer - **Company:** Telenet - **Location:** Mechelen, Belgium (Remote available) - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Artificial Intelligence, Airflow, Amazon Web Services, Data Analysis, Data Validation, Standard Sql, Data Streaming, Cloud Platform System, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Information Technology, Virtual Agents - **Published:** July 10, 2026 - **Apply:** https://ebza.fa.em2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/nl/sites/CX/requisitions/preview/5678 ## About the Role * Strong background in data (Computer Science or equivalent education/experience) within large-scale, cloud environments * Hands-on with Snowflake, AWS, DBT and Dagster (Spark is a plus). * Deep knowledge of SQL (Scala is a strong plus) and experience in data modelling (conceptual & logical) * Familiar with (or excited about) AI Agents and their application in data workflows * Experienced in translating business processes into data requirements * Ability to interpret complex data relations and identify gaps or inconsistencies. * Strong communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations to (business) stakeholders. * Structured, analytical, solution oriented and proactive with the confidence to challenge stakeholders * Comfortable working in agile teams and with external partners (offshore) * Fluent in English, Dutch or French is a plus. ## Description * Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Analytics Engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and assess impact * Translate requirements into solution designs and end to end data flows * Present and review solution designs with Data Architects and Tech Leads * Conduct source-to-target analyses (S2T), identifying gaps in source data and documenting required transformations using Agentic AI. * Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and cost-efficient, embedding quality by design. * Explore, build, and maintain Agentic AI solutions * Define data quality checks and maintain clear, reusable documentation * Collaborate with Data Engineers during delivery.
