The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality data, voice, and fibre optic cabling solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in structured cabling, network infrastructure, testing and certification, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The engineer will work independently and as part of a project team across commercial, industrial, and data centre environments., * Proven experience installing structured cabling systems. * Strong knowledge of copper and fibre optic network infrastructure. * Experience with cable testing and certification. * Understanding of network topology and Ethernet technologies. * Ability to diagnose and rectify infrastructure faults. * Experience installing server cabinets and data centre infrastructure. * Ability to read technical drawings and installation specifications. * Excellent organisational and time management skills. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and within a team. * Full UK driving licence., * BICSI Installer or Technician certification. * CNCI or equivalent structured cabling qualification. * Fibre optic termination and testing certification. * ECS or CSCS card. * IPAF and PASMA certification. * First Aid at Work. * Manufacturer accreditations (CommScope, Excel, Panduit, Leviton, Siemon, Corning, etc.).
