## About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team to provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, organised, detail-oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills and a wealth of technical knowledge. This position will require a high level of commitment, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. The salary is dependent on skills and experience, up to the maximum stated.

## Description

* Answer questions and solve problems for customers regarding product operation.
 * Analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
 * Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
 * Work as part of a team or independently.
 * Perform testing procedures to determine cause of problem and implement solutions.
 * Train users on proper operation of equipment.

Ideal Skills:

 * Virtualisation: Xen Server (XCP), VMWare
 * VoIP: Asterisk/FreePBX , 3CX, SIP knowledge an advantage
 * Office 365
 * Microsoft Licensing, NCE, SPLA
 * Azure
 * Strong network design and diagnostics -VPNs, VLANs, Wifi
 * Commercial awareness
 * Hardware: Watchguard, Draytek, Dell -Servers and Switches, Yealink, Cisco
 * Full clean driving license
