CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS * Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Preferred, * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Proficiency in metadata management technologies, including metadata management software and databases. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive patterns and insights from large, complex data sets. * Proficient in SQL; familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and assertively in a collaborative environment. ## Description Covetrus is a global animal-health technology and services leader dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved health and financial outcomes. The Metadata Manager plays a critical role in enforcing Data Governance policies that oversee the business information life cycle, supporting value creation, cost efficiency, service quality, and risk management goals. This role drives data governance strategy by partnering directly with senior management, lines of business, and technology teams to ensure consistent understanding and stewardship of our data assets. The Metadata Manager collaborates with Data Management team partners to promote awareness, standards, and cooperation across the organization.
