A high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Minimum of documented one (1) year successful experience and/or training in a computer technical trade. 3. Physical requirements: Ability to do strenuous physical tasks during the performance of duties, to include lifting up to 50 pounds, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, climbing, etc. 4. Satisfactory clearance of a Criminal History Records check and drug screening., 1. Honesty, dependability, punctuality, accuracy, and diligence on the job 2. Ability to relate well to fellow workers, parents, students, and the general public 3. Habits of dress, grooming, and personal conduct suitable to the work site and school environment 4. Willingness to use professional practices appropriate to public service and school settings 5. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, orally and in writing 6. Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions 7. Ability to access, organize, and maintain information needed in the performance of specific work tasks 8. Willingness to become totally familiar with and to comply with school district policies, procedures, rules, and functions 9. Willingness to complete in-service training needed to enhance and update job performance over a period of service ## Description Mastery of proper use and care of equipment, tools and materials related to the particular trade or craft., 1. Installs, maintains and repairs microcomputer, peripherals, and software throughout the school. 2. Assists in planning and implementing an annual school-wide preventative maintenance schedule. 3. Maintains a comprehensive computer database which will serve as an inventory of the school based computer, peripherals, and software. 4. Advises staff members on the proper operation of computer, peripheral equipment and software. 5. Troubleshoots and activates network connections. 6. Assists with database management. 7. Assists the District Technology Resource Teacher in training staff members on proper preventative maintenance procedures. 8. Assists school personnel with set up and use of technology equipment (i.e., projectors, interactive devices, digital cameras, printers, etc.) 9. Assists in completing technology surveys, reports, etc. 10. Serves on the school technology committee. 11. Updates skills in evolving school computer technologies on a regular basis. 12. Maintains effective working relationships with other employees. 13.
