Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js. Hands-on experience integrating LLM / AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into production applications. Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT). Comfort working with modern AI-assisted development tools as part of your workflow. Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills. US citizenship or residency (no visa sponsorship available). Preferred Qualifications Experience building RAG systems and working with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar). About the Role We're looking for experienced Full Stack Engineers with hands-on AI experience to join our developer network. In this role, you'll design and ship scalable web applications using React.js on the front end and Node.js on the back end - and you'll bring AI capabilities directly into the product, integrating large language models and AI services into real, user-facing features. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, optimize performance, and uphold high standards of code quality and reliability. You're comfortable working in an AI-native engineering environment - both building AI-powered features and using modern AI tooling in your day-to-day workflow. Strong communication skills are key, as you'll be working in a collaborative, remote-first environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript. Integrate LLMs and AI services into production features - structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic or tool-using workflows. Build and maintain the supporting data and retrieval layers for AI features (embeddings, vector search, context pipelines). Measure and improve AI feature quality, reliability, latency, and cost through evaluation and guardrails. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Implement best practices for platform engineering, performance optimization, and security. Work closely with DevOps to automate and streamline deployment processes. Write clean, testable, and efficient code, and participate in code reviews.
