## About the Role

Working closely with business stakeholders, the Power BI Developer will translate business requirements and report specifications into polished, production-ready reporting solutions. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering meaningful data visualizations and reporting tools that support informed decision-making.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent work experience. Candidates should also have two to four years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports in a professional environment, along with demonstrated expertise in creating paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Experience in the insurance, risk management, public sector, or government analytics industries is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality reporting solutions, collaborating effectively with stakeholders, and transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Public Risk Innovation, Solutions, and Management (PRISM), a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) providing risk management and insurance solutions to public entities across California, is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and paginated reports that deliver actionable insights to PRISM staff, member agencies, partners, brokers, and vendors.
