 * Strong foundation in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Communication Theory
 * Proficiency in scripting and simulation using MATLAB or Python
 * Basic understanding of OFDM waveforms
 * Familiarity with communication standards (e.g., 3GPP, 6G/5G, or CCSDS) is a plus

## Description

In order to support the Digital Payload Processors Design Team, Airbus Defence and Space is offering the following, Our site is just a stone's throw away from Munich, the beautiful capital of Bavaria. The Alps and Lake Starnberg are within an hour's reach, offering a multitude of recreational options., The Master's Thesis position will support the ongoing R&D activities on on-board implementation and scaling of a jamming robust gNodeB. The successful candidate shall contribute to one or more of the following fields:

 * Sequence Analysis: Investigating the mathematical and statistical properties of different sequence designs in the context of NTN-specific channel conditions.
 * Attack Modeling: Developing simulation models for various pilot-spoofing and jamming scenarios to evaluate their impact on signal integrity.
 * Robustness Characterization: Analyzing how different sequence properties react to malicious interference through various performance metrics.
 * Feature Identification: Identifying unique "signal signatures" or features that can be used to distinguish between legitimate and spoofed signals.
 * Benchmark Development: Providing a comparative evaluation of sequence-based robustness to support the development of on-board detection algorithms.
