 * Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues in mission-critical environments.
 * Experience supporting highly available enterprise systems with strict operational requirements.
 * Knowledge of large-scale data migration and legacy system modernization projects., * Experience in transportation, logistics, workforce management, or other operational industries.
 * Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Kronos, PeopleSoft, or similar HR/Payroll systems.
 * Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance-driven business processes.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer with 10+ years of experience supporting and enhancing mission-critical mainframe applications. This role is responsible for maintaining legacy systems, ensuring production stability, managing batch processes, supporting enterprise data integrations, and leading data migration efforts to a modern platform. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with large-scale enterprise applications, and a solid understanding of operational reporting and system integrations., * Maintain, support, and enhance mission-critical mainframe applications and legacy enterprise systems.

 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to batch jobs, interfaces, and production workflows.
 * Support daily operational activities, including data validation and application maintenance.
 * Manage data integrations with enterprise applications such as payroll, HR, and reporting systems.
 * Develop, modify, and maintain operational, business, and regulatory reports.
 * Design and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern platforms.
 * Validate migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and business readiness.
 * Perform routine system maintenance, performance tuning, and production support.
 * Document system processes, workflows, and integrations while providing knowledge transfer to team members.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to support modernization initiatives.
