## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline (Master's preferred).
 * 4+ years of experience in Data Science (2+ years with a relevant Master's degree).
 * Strong experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
 * Advanced Python programming skills.
 * Deep understanding of statistics, feature engineering, model evaluation, and machine learning best practices.
 * Experience working with large and complex datasets.
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

 * Experience building Computer Vision models.
 * Experience with AWS technologies such as S3, SageMaker, and Ground Truth.
 * Experience mentoring or leading other Data Scientists.

## Description

Contract Duration: 4-month contract with high potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Lead the end-to-end development of machine learning and computer vision solutions, from discovery through deployment.
 * Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify high-value AI opportunities.
 * Design, build, and optimize predictive machine learning models.
 * Lead computer vision initiatives, including data labeling, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
 * Build scalable data pipelines by extracting, transforming, and preparing data from multiple sources.
 * Develop clean, production-quality Python code for feature engineering and model development.
 * Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.
 * Review and mentor other data scientists, ensuring high technical standards across the team.
 * Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and subject matter experts to deliver production-ready AI products.
