Working in a highly regulated medical device environment, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle - from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, verification, and product release. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems, Electrical Engineering, Security, and Quality, to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative therapy solutions while ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and quality standards. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Own firmware features for implantable neurostimulator systems. Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) and proprietary communication protocols. Develop embedded software utilizing various BLE stacks. Contribute to firmware requirements, architecture, traceability, scope management, software hazard analysis, and design documentation. Design, implement, debug, and optimize embedded firmware while executing unit and integration testing. Develop test designs, test scripts, and formal technical reports to support verification activities. Perform regression testing, failure analysis, and debugging of embedded software and automated test scripts. Analyze test data, document findings, and recommend design or process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall system design and product development. Participate in design reviews, development milestones, and product release activities. Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, software development processes, and quality system requirements while driving continuous improvement.
