Desirable skills and experience: * Experience working within streaming, video platform or other large-scale web environments. * Knowledge of cloud and container technologies, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker and Kubernetes. * Expertise in API and performance testing, with experience implementing AI-driven testing and integrating AI/ML into QA practices. * Leadership experience, including guiding teams to deliver testing solutions, collaborating across multiple teams or territories, and using monitoring and troubleshooting tools to diagnose complex issues. ## Description Apps Integration provide essential technical development and support functions to internal and external stakeholders in the ever-increasing world of Apps. As a Principal CI/CD & Automation Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies for streaming and web applications. You will play a critical role in building a new function within the team, driving best practices, and enabling scalable, high-quality software delivery. You will be expected to bring deep expertise, operate autonomously, and influence both technical and operational direction. What you'll do * Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines across web applications. * Define and deliver end-to-end automated testing strategies covering UI, API, integration and performance testing. * Develop scalable automation frameworks and advanced Python-based automation solutions. * Embed testing within CI/CD pipelines to maintain quality gates and support reliable software releases. * Create dashboards and reporting solutions to track quality metrics, test coverage and pipeline performance. * Analyse test and pipeline results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders to drive quality improvements. * Partner with engineering, product and cross-functional teams across multiple territories to promote DevOps, testing and automation best practices. * Mentor junior engineers and play a key role in establishing and growing a new automation and quality engineering function.
