## About the Role

Required

 * High School Diploma or GED.
 * Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
 * Experience with:
 * Windows Server
 * VMware
 * Cisco networking
 * Storage Area Networks (SAN)
 * Firewall administration
 * Windows Active Directory
 * DNS/DHCP
 * Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles, infrastructure support, and cybersecurity best practices.

Preferred

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
 * Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
 * Experience participating in infrastructure design and implementation projects.

Preferred Certifications

 * CCNA or CCNP
 * VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
 * Microsoft MCSA or MCSE
 * CISSP
 * Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
 * GIAC Certification

## Description

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco networking, Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, Storage Area Networks (SAN), firewall technologies, and enterprise cybersecurity best practices., * Design, implement, and support enterprise network, server, and storage infrastructure.

 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network and server issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies, including the OSI model.
 * Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise hardware and software.
 * Support Cisco networking, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and firewall technologies.
 * Help maintain a secure infrastructure by following established security standards and cybersecurity best practices.
 * Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, documentation, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.
 * Provide advanced technical support for network security systems and authentication services.
 * Assist with infrastructure planning, system upgrades, and technology implementation projects.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and technology vendors to support business operations.
 * Provide technical guidance on smaller projects and assist with mentoring junior team members when needed.
