This role cannot be performed remotely. * 3+ years in AVL integration, field commissioning, or technical project supervision - AVL industry experience is required; general IT or construction PM experience alone does not qualify. * Proven success leading technicians and subcontractors on active jobsites, delivering on time and on budget. * Strong knowledge of AVL system components, wiring standards, and installation methodologies. * Hands-on familiarity with DSPs, lighting control, network configuration, and system testing; strong background in Networked AV. * Proficiency reading architectural/engineering drawings, schematics, and bid documents. * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Planner, Office, and D-Tools or similar. * OSHA 10 or 30 certification. Preferred Qualifications * CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D; Dante, Q-SYS, or Crestron certification(s); PMP. * Experience with design-build or consultant-driven AVL projects. * AutoCAD, ProCore, PlanGrid; Agile/SAFe familiarity. * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field. You'll oversee on-site execution of multiple AVL integration projects-managing crews, schedules, budgets, and contractor coordination-while providing hands-on engineering: system commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting. You'll spend most of your time on jobsites and in client venues, leading Project Leads and field crews and ensuring design intent becomes functional, well-documented, commissioned systems. Key Responsibilities Field Project Management * Manage multiple projects from mobilization to completion-scope, schedule, and budget. * Translate engineering drawings and scopes into actionable field tasks and milestones. * Supervise and mentor Project Leads and Field Technicians; oversee crew performance, daily reporting, and issue resolution. * Serve as primary field liaison with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, and other trades; represent Covenant in site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs. * Manage labor forecasting, field scheduling, change orders, and milestone billing readiness; flag scope gaps and schedule conflicts early. * Ensure compliance with safety policies and Covenant quality standards. On-Site Engineering & Commissioning * Provide on-site engineering direction and QA throughout installation. * Conduct system commissioning, device configuration, and final testing. * Troubleshoot and resolve field technical challenges; lead end-user training and system handoff.
