Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related field

 * Experience in mineral sands, mining, or heavy industry processing environments preferred
 * Strong understanding of mineral processing principles and plant operations
 * Experience with process optimization, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
 * Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

## Description

This position requires a motivated and technically skilled Process Engineer (Mining) to support our mining operations by optimizing process performance, improving plant efficiency, and ensuring safe and sustainable processing practices. This role plays a key part in bridging mining, geology, and plant operations to deliver high-quality product outcomes.

This position requires a champion of a strong safety culture and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company standards., TechnicalOperational Support

 * Provide process engineering support to mining operations to ensure efficient and safe mineral processing
 * Collaborate with Mine Manager, Mine Engineer, Geologist, and other stakeholders to define short-term processing requirements
 * Analyze mineralogical data and recommend process adjustments or additional sampling/testing
 * Ensure product quality meets customer specifications in coordination with technical teams

Plant PerformanceOptimization

 * Monitor and review plant performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
 * Conduct process audits, surveys, and performance evaluations
 * Optimize process systems, including:

 + Pump and pipeline design
 + Materials handling systems
 + Process water balance and conservation
 * Maintain process instrumentation accuracy and reliability
 * Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend improvements

ProjectContinuous Improvement

 * Contribute to plant design modifications and process improvements
 * Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive operational excellence
 * Assist in the development of innovative processing solutions

PlanningCollaboration

 * Partner with planning teams to support development of new mining sites

 * Provide technical training and guidance to operations personnel
 * Promote safe work practices among employees and contractors
