## About the Role

We are seeking an Architect with 5-7 years experience who is passionate about residential architecture and modern design to join our team in our new Gowanus studio., * 5-7 years experience.

 * This is a leadership position- you can take a project from concept through construction, and you are a critical thinker, problem solver, and able to manage multiple projects.
 * Experience with NYC residential projects and all phases of architecture
 * High level of proficiency with Autocad, Sketchup and Enscape
 * Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
 * Knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning and LPC processes
 * Keen interest in detailing and materials
 * Currently live in the New York City Area; This is a full-time, in person position.

## Description

* Lead projects under the direction of the principal and with the support of the team.
 * Generate designs and presentations.
 * Produce construction drawings and details.
 * Ensure compliance of buildings codes and studio standards.
 * Manage schedules and coordination of clients, contractors, consultants, city agencies and vendors.
 * Execute construction administration including review of shop drawings and submittals.
