JOB KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION * 10+ years' experience of block and file storage * 8+ years' experience of backup solutions. * Experience administrating solutions within a regulated environment, i.e. Financial Services. * 3+ years' experience of S3 object storage solutions. * RedHat/CentOS and Windows operating system knowledge. * Network, F5 load balancer and firewall knowledge. * Public cloud provider exposure. AWS mainly. ## Description The Senior Storage & Backup Engineer will be responsible for managing the global data protection and archiving software and hardware. This will include ensuring operations run consistently and that data is backed up or archived within agreed service level agreements. As the senior data protection engineer, be responsible for platform upgrades and service improvements.
