Preferred: * Sitting or former Chief Compliance Officer at a healthcare services, RPM/CCM, or value-based care organization. * Direct experience representing corporate compliance posture in Private Equity (PE) or strategic-acquirer diligence. * Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent designation. * A Juris Doctor (JD) or clinical background is highly preferred (but not an absolute filter). * Deep experience with TCPA and outbound-communication governance in a high-volume patient-engagement context. ## Description Nsight Health is seeking a senior compliance executive to own clinical and billing compliance across our remote care programs and to lead our strategic posture with payors-including audits, intakes, recoupments, and coverage standards. Stepping into an established seat with an existing Director of Compliance reporting directly to you, your mandate will be to elevate our current foundation to scale alongside our rapid patient volume growth. This is not a passive, policy-and-training compliance role. Our revenue is CMS-regulated at the CPT-code level, our payor relationships run through formal audit and intake processes, and our compliance posture is a direct input to enterprise deals and strategic diligence. You have likely sat on the payor side, or spent a career across the table from payors, and know how coverage decisions, audits, and recoupments actually work from the inside. The final title (VP or CCO) will be commensurate with experience, but what does not flex is the bar: you will serve as Nsight's compliance voice in enterprise sales, handle audit postures with regulators, and ensure the company remains acquisition-ready at all times. AI Fluency Requirement - Non-Negotiable Nsight Health is an AI-first organization. Every member of our leadership and operations team is expected to actively use AI tools in their day-to-day work - not as a novelty, but as a core productivity multiplier. This role requires genuine curiosity about AI, comfort experimenting with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and workflow automation platforms, and the judgment to know when AI helps and when it doesn't. If AI makes you uncomfortable, this is not the right role. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Billing Compliance: Own compliance for all remote care programs (RPM, CCM, PCM, CoCM, BHI), tracking CMS rulemaking (Physician Fee Schedule) to build compliance directly into operational workflows rather than bolting it on. Oversee multi-state clinical licensure infrastructure. Payor Audits & Recoupment Defense: Lead the end-to-end payor audit lifecycle (MAC, RAC, UPIC, TPE, and commercial/MA plan audits). Defend recoupments, manage the Medicare appeals process, protect earned revenue, and track exposure as a core financial metric. Enterprise Intakes & Governance: Own formal payor compliance intakes and medical device assessments (e.g., Optum/UHG-style submissions) that gate major enterprise relationships. Maintain regulatory compliance for patient outreach workflows under TCPA. Compliance Program Maturity: Continuously mature the corporate compliance program against the OIG seven-element standard. Direct internal proactive claim sampling and documentation QA with a rigid operational cadence. Executive & Commercial Posture: Act as the compliance voice in enterprise sales, client diligence, and payor negotiations. Deliver decision-ready compliance analysis (exposure quantified, options framed, recommendations made) to the executive team. Partner closely with the CISO on HIPAA privacy postures.
