This is a critical requirement, and profiles must demonstrate end-to-end project implementation within Fabric. Candidates should have worked on Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, Fabric Pipelines, and PySpark within the Fabric environment., * 12+ years overall experience in data engineering/data platform roles. * 2+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing on Microsoft Fabric. * Strong proficiency in SQL (performance tuning, complex transformations, analytics-ready modeling). * Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (or Fabric pipelines), including orchestration patterns and parameterized pipelines. * Strong hands-on development in PySpark for scalable transformation workflows. * Experience implementing CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps/GitHub, automated deployments, environment management). * Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ingestion, transformations, modeling, orchestration, testing). * Strong knowledge of modern data architectures such as Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Data Vault, and related patterns. * Hands-on knowledge with semantic layer creation, report creation and DAX functions (this is listed in good-to-have.
