## About the Role

* Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related field.
 * CAP Professional or equivalent certification.
 * 6 years of AI/ML experience, or 5 years with a PhD.
 * Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
 * Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.

Work Location: Hybrid - USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

## Description

The AI/ML Specialist develops, deploys, and maintains artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions supporting mission-critical operational and analytical requirements., * Design and deploy AI/ML models.

 * Develop and test machine learning solutions.
 * Support MLOps and DevSecOps practices.
 * Evaluate AI technologies and use cases.
 * Perform model validation, monitoring, and tuning.
 * Provide technical leadership on AI initiatives.
