## About the Role

* Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
 * One (1) year of experience in use or support of desktop computing
 * Must be proficient in PC support and be able to work in a team environment.
 * Effective oral and written communications skills.
 * Equivalent experience, education, and/or training (IT certifications) may be substituted for the education requirements.

## Description

Primarily responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the clinical application interfaces. Troubleshoots desktops/hardware/printer issues.
What You'll Do

 * Supports the end-user community in the effective access and use of University Hospital.
 * Monitors and troubleshoots HL7 Protocol Application interfaces.
 * Performs basic hardware repair.
 * Assists with the preparation of documentation and informational materials for non-technical users
 * Understands and accepts the responsibilities of working in a 24/7 environment.
 * Provides tier 1 support for Clinical Application, and other ancillary systems.
