## About the Role

Required:

 * 2+ years of experience in mobile engineering
 * Strong Kotlin expertise for Android development, including Jetpack Compose and modern app architecture (MVVM / Clean Architecture)
 * Proven experience building and shipping consumer-facing mobile apps (not exclusively B2B)
 * Experience integrating Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging)
 * Familiarity with backend data formats and APIs common in mobile apps: protobufs, REST, and gRPC
 * Proficiency with Android testing strategies (unit and instrumentation/UI tests) and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile
 * Strong communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration

Nice to Have:

 * Mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior mobile engineers
 * Familiarity with Dagger Hilt for dependency injection
 * Exposure to GCP, Go, BigQuery, or MySQL in a mobile backend context, This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. Candidates should be prepared to work from the office.
